Sofia Brescia, Frizzante NV

Sofia Brescia sources fruit from sustainably managed vineyards in Veneto’s foothills east of Vicenza, on volcanic and limestone soils. The project shines a light on small growers, the most often under-represented, whose vines are farmed with care for environmental impact and ecosystem balance. Made from 100% Glera, the wine shows pale straw-gold in the glass with gentle, fine bubbles. The nose offers fragrant acacia blossom, Asian pear, citrus peel and a soft hint of honey. On the palate it is light, crisp and refreshing: lemon-zest brightness with green apple and a subtle saline-minerality, finishing clean and spritzy. A charming, easy-drinking frizzante, ideal as an aperitif or paired with light seafood and summer salads.
